Ive yet to be all that impressed by this app. Its too bad, because I live in manhattan and it would be cool if it actually had interesting spots.
This app fills a need that a lot of us have. It does so beautifully. And it crashes all the time.
Its an okay app to use to remember a random place. Crashes so I dont use it often.
This app is great, but like others have said, it crashes quite often. Every time Ive used it, it has crashed, yet I go back in anyways. Great concept, looks good and easy to use.
Great way to keep a journal of your travels - does crash occasionally, but not enough to deter me from its use
Ive sent msgs to developers & theyve been great. App does crash, but always seems to work on 2nd try. This is a solid concept & functionality is easy. Wish List: To be able to organize collections (alphabetically or to my choosing).
And because of the social component itll be even better once more ppl begin using it. Beautiful, easy to use. (and doesnt crash for me which seems to be others issues)
Just what I was looking for to keep track of places I love
For a while I wanted an app that would: - bookmark a restaurant I want to check out - have a map that would show them all so I can decide based on location which one I wanted to check out - allow for a notes section to jot down why I wanted to go there Everplaces has those features plus a few others that are great: - add pics of what I want to have at that restaurant - connect with friends to see what they want to check out - categorize my list into groups such as, to try, desserts, dinners, etc. Its a great app to make note of locations. The only feature I would love to have is the list of locations to populate based on what I type. Currently it only shows locations that are near me and not any that are distant but would match what I am typing in the search box. This would be helpful if someone recommends a place that isnt near me and I want to jot it down before i forget. Other than that, its a fantastic app!
This is a travel lovers best friend. Know where others recommend in a new city, or post your feelings (and a pic) about eateries, architecture and more. The best part is it categorizes by type, by city, and by your own list.
Love the idea of the app, but the most absurd set up to search for anything...city, a place, type of food etc.. Basically you just browse the other users the app suggest for you. So if you only wanted to see only users in London, or San Francisco there is no practical way of doing so, unless you are in the currently in the vicinity you want to search. Most all of the recommendations how ever have been great, still needs a lot of work to be an app that is functional and doesnt just get deleted.
Everplaces is perfect for anyone who travels a lot and loves to explore cities.
OMG, finally!! Thank you for finally adding the explore whats around you feature. Overall, great update. **I prefer the orange on black logo though. Not a huge fan of the change there.
Its Saturday night, you know you read about a new restaurant in the area, but cant remember the name, or exactly where it was... Use everplaces to capture all those spots - from articles, recommendations from friends, places youve gone past, etc - and never forget a place again.
Nothing but crash!
As someone who has lived in Seattle, DC, Seoul and Copenhagen, I often get messages from friends saying "wheres the best place for a casual dinner" or "what monuments do I have to see in…"? Its great to be able to link them to my favorite places around these cities without a lengthy e-mail, especially because I have the memory of a goldfish for remembering. It also has offline capability, so even if you travel abroad without a data plan, all the places you want to go/favorited will be saved! Even better when you have wifi so you can use the Explore feature though. A must in your arsenal of travel apps!
Umm what do you do? How do I check in somewhere? No tutorial. Needs major improvements on almost everything. Good user interface and good social networking capabilities. Keep trying
Great UI. Great idea. There is no good social network for travelers. This could be it if it had better social integration and places recommendations.
App is so well designed. Love the look and feel. However, when I edit the title of a post Ive already made, each letter I type is registered twice. Deal breaker.
